You will be given protective eyewear to wear throughout the treatment. Your nurse will work methodically across the treatment area to ensure full coverage. You will hear a clicking sound from the device as it fires and may notice a very faint smell of singed hair, which is completely normal and indicates the laser is working correctly.
Immediately After Your Session
A Mild, Familiar Warmth
The treated area will appear red and may feel warm for two to four hours after your session, similar to mild sunburn. This is a normal inflammatory response and settles quickly. You can apply a cool compress or aloe vera gel to soothe the area.
