The Express Hydrabrasion includes: a double cleanse with warm towel, dry dermabrasion, wet dermabrasion with a customized serum, masque, hydrating serum infusion and finishing products.
The Deluxe Hydrabrasion includes: a double cleanse with warm towel, dry dermabrasion, wet dermabrasion with a customized serum, extractions* (if needed), masque, LED light therapy, ice globe massage, hydrating serum infusion and finishing products.
Are there any side effects?
While this treatment is generally safe for almost all skin types and involves no downtime, mild redness, irritation or sensitivity, slight tingling, flaking and minor breakouts may occur. Due to the suction involved in the dermabrasion, there is also a slight risk of bruising. Any side effects are typically temporary and should subside on their own after treatment. It is important to strictly follow post-care instructions!
What are the pre-care instructions?
Discontinuing the use of AHA/BHA, Retin-A, any retinoid product, prescription topicals and active/exfoliating products one week prior. No injectables, any form of hair removal treatment or facial treatment 14 days prior. Limiting any sun exposure, no tanning and always wearing sunscreen.
What are the post-care instructions?
Avoiding all sun exposure or keeping it to a minimum. Please wear your sunscreen!! Refrain from any exercise, sweating, and applying makeup for at least 24 to 72 hours. No hot showers or washing your face with hot water, always use lukewarm water. Changing of your pillowcase and ensuring all makeup brushes are clean before reuse. Always wash your hands before your skincare routine and avoid touching and picking your skin. No use of active ingredients, exfoliation and prescription topicals for at least 7 days after treatment. No injectables, any form of hair removal treatment, and facial treatment for at least 14 days post treatment.
